Jacqueline completed her Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) in 2004. Since then she has furthered her training to gain expertise in spinal and pelvic realignment, core stability, sports biomechanics training, nutritional support, scar tissue and myofascial releases, peripheral nerve mobilisations, breathing retraining, ergonomic analysis, myofascial taping, both ante-natal and post-natal physiotherapy, infant and child health and orthopaedic rehabilitation.
Jacqueline adopts an integrated approach to therapy addressing not only the musculoskeletal system but also other systems who influence or can be influenced by the musculoskeletal system: namely the immune, endocrine, nervous, respiratory, gastrointestinal and cardiovascular systems.
She has become proficiently trained in Cranio-Sacral Therapy through the Upledger Intitute in 2007. This profound therapy can release long-standing patterns of tension and trauma throughout the body. CranioSacral Therapy is an extremely gentle hands-on approach following the philosophy of working on the whole person rather than symptoms alone. She furthered this training by studying in France alongside world renowned French Osteopaths Jean-Pierre Barral and Alain Croibier. Here she completed courses in Cranial Nerve Manipulation, Manual Thermal Diagnosis and Somato-Emotional Release Therapy.
Jacqui’s extraordinary experience and genuine desire to help her clients make her an exceedingly valuable member of the Bodyworks team, particularly when dealing with chronic, complex or unusual complaints.
